A tesseract, as Madeleine L'Engle described it in A Wrinkle in Time, is a way to travel impossible distances in an instant. It felt like the right name for a bookstore. Open since August 2025, Tesseract carries a curated selection of classics, contemporary fiction, science fiction, political and social justice nonfiction, and science and mathematics.

Delivery & Returns
Flat rate shipping: $4.99 per order
We ship daily via USPS Media Mail. If something arrives damaged or isn't what you expected, use the Contact Us button at the top of the page and we'll make it right. For returns, we'll walk you through the process.
