Tesseract Books is named for the word tesseract, from Madeleine L' Engle's "A Wrinkle in Time." It describes the ability to travel impossible distances in an instant. The store has been open since August, 2025. Our book catalog is a curated selection of classics, contemporary fiction, political and social justice-focused nonfiction, science and mathematics, and of course, science fiction.
